Modern Kitchen

This kitchen is the NARI Madison 2010 Contractor of the Year Award for Residential Kitchen $40,000 to $80,000 winner. This project had some unique challenges because all of the walls were half as thick as a normal wall and our clients wanted to retain the windows, which were lower than the cabinets. Our designer came up with a creative solution to make window recesses for plants and display items and create extra storage space by pulling the cabinets forward. Great care, planning, and skill was taken to place, locate, and seamlessly add new electrical, plumbing and ventilation needed for a modern kitchen, since, due to the thin walls, half the usual space was available to conceal all the pipes, wires and vents.
