Craftsman Kitchen

This kitchen is the NARI of Madison 2017 Contractor of the Year Award Winner for Residential Kitchen $100,001 to $150,000. It combines medium wood tones with grays and golds for a warm, welcoming feel. The dining area locks in with the island, keeping friends and family near kitchen happenings as well as the great room. The custom cabinetry design features carry over to the range hood and matching wraps of moulding lend a furniture-like appearance throughout the space. Forged metal accent tiles in the backsplash were also incorporated above the sink for a distinctive look. Electrical outlets tucked below the cabinets allow for an inconspicuous appearance without breaking up the backsplash design. The tile backsplash extends to the multi-level island, functioning as an active space as opposed to a breakfast bar. Large sparkly veins in the granite countertop add to the high-end aesthetic of the space. Cabinetry throughout the kitchen was designed to be as beautiful as it is functional. Features include an LED-lit china cabinet, a handy utensil drawer in the island beneath the cooktop, multi-level storage drawers for easy organizing, and a cutlery drawer with butcher block insert beneath the cutting board surface.
