Subway Tile Bath

This bathroom received a historically appropriate and durable update. We relocated the toilet and installed a slightly larger tub to create more space for soaking. In the shower, we replaced the square tiles with subway tiles which now go all the way to the ceiling. Also in the shower, we replaced the wood window with a water-resistant window that features a stone accent ledge. Structural repairs were made to the floor which was then finished with beautiful and durable large tiles. With these updates the bathroom feels bigger and is revitalized in a way that maintains its period look.
